A new variant of Nothing’s Phone 3a model has been revealed, hinting at the forthcoming release of the next-generation model. The initial substantial leak about the Nothing Phone 4a series has surfaced, disclosing potential pricing and essential specifications of the upcoming devices. According to information from a source named MlgmXyysd on Telegram, obtained months before the official launch, here are the key details.
Leak: Nothing Phone 4a Expected Soon – Price and Key Specs Revealed
The leak suggests that the starting price for the Nothing Phone 4a could be $475 (approximately Rs 43,000), while the 4a Pro might be priced at $540 (around Rs 49,000). Should Nothing decide to retail the new models at these prices, they will need to provide value to justify the higher costs. The leak indicates that the Phone 4a series is likely to feature a Snapdragon 7-series System on Chip (SoC). While specific chipset names are not disclosed, if Nothing opts for Qualcomm’s latest offerings, the standard model may utilize the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, with the Pro variant potentially equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC.
However, these details are not officially confirmed yet. If the company indeed aims for the leaked price points, the choice of chipset could pose challenges in attracting customers. A similar situation occurred with the Nothing Phone 3 model, where a premium mid-range chipset was used, but the device was priced at flagship levels, disappointing many eager fans. In the Indian market, it is anticipated that the Nothing Phone 4a series will not command steep prices akin to the US market and may be priced more competitively.
For reference, the Nothing Phone 3a (review) was launched at $379 (roughly Rs 34,250), with the 3a Pro (review) priced at $459 (approximately Rs 41,480) in the US. Notably, these devices were offered in India at significantly lower prices, with the Nothing Phone 3a retailing at Rs 22,999 and the 3a Pro at Rs 27,999. This suggests that the upcoming Nothing Phone 4a series may follow suit by being more affordable in the Indian market. Even if prices are adjusted for the new models, the standard version is expected to remain below Rs 30,000, while the Pro variant may slightly exceed this threshold.
Based on previous leaks, the upcoming Nothing Phone 4a model is rumored to feature a sleek design with a partially transparent rear panel. Enhancements in the camera setup are uncertain at this point. The leak hints at potential upgrades to the primary camera, while other aspects may remain unchanged. Different sensor choices could be in consideration by Nothing, details that will be clarified post-launch. The Phone 4a is rumored to
