The United States recently enforced sanctions on Russia’s major oil companies, Lukoil LKOH.MM and Rosneft ROSN.MM. Additionally, EU countries have approved the 19th round of sanctions against Moscow in response to its actions in Ukraine, which includes a prohibition on Russian liquefied natural gas imports.
