Referring to the operation conducted from May 7 to 10, PM Modi highlighted the significance of upholding righteousness and fighting injustice, drawing parallels to Lord Shri Ram’s teachings.
PM Modi also remarked on the uniqueness of this year’s Diwali celebration, noting that lamps will be lit in various districts, including remote areas, where Naxalism and Maoist terrorism have been eradicated. He commended individuals who have chosen to abandon violence and embrace development, emphasizing the importance of faith in the country’s Constitution.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister underlined India’s global reputation as a beacon of stability and empathy amidst global turmoil. He projected India’s trajectory towards becoming the world’s third-largest economy, emphasizing the citizens’ role in fostering a developed and self-reliant India.
Discussing recent reforms, PM Modi highlighted the introduction of GST 2.0 during Navratri, aimed at reducing prices of essential goods by simplifying the GST structure. He encouraged the adoption of local products and promoted the ethos of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ while advocating for health consciousness and promoting Yoga.
In the spirit of Diwali, PM Modi urged the illumination of harmony, cooperation, and positivity within society. He also extended Diwali greetings to the nation, emphasizing the significance of supporting local artisans by purchasing domestically made products during the festive season.
