“Apple Collaborates with Issey Miyake for iPhone Pocket Bag”

Apple has introduced a novel way to carry your iPhone with the launch of the iPhone Pocket, a compact bag collaboration with renowned Japanese designer Issey Miyake. This limited-edition accessory, crafted with a 3D-knit construction, is tailored to accommodate iPhones and daily essentials. The iPhone Pocket is available in two versions: a short strap model priced at $149.95 and a long strap model at $229.95 in the U.S.

The design of the iPhone Pocket is inspired by “a piece of cloth,” reflecting a simple yet elegant approach. Drawing from Issey Miyake’s signature pleated fashion style, the accessory reimagines the traditional pocket. Developed through a close partnership between Apple Design Studio and Miyake Design Studio, the iPhone Pocket blends the creative input of both teams to achieve its distinctive form.

Both the short strap and long strap variants of the iPhone Pocket feature a ribbed open structure and are offered in a range of color options. The short strap design is available in lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon, and black, while the long strap design is offered in sapphire, cinnamon, and black hues.

Apple emphasizes that the iPhone Pocket is versatile, capable of storing not only your iPhone but also AirPods and other small everyday items. The accessory is set to launch on November 14 and will be retailed through selected Apple stores and online channels in various countries, including the U.S., U.K., France, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Greater China. Following the earlier release of a crossbody strap, Apple aims to provide users with more options for carrying their devices.

As a limited-time product, prospective buyers are advised to secure their iPhone Pocket early due to potential stock limitations. While Apple has not confirmed plans for an India launch, the accessory’s exclusive nature suggests that availability in India may not be immediate.
