“OnePlus 15 Unveiled: 165Hz Display, DetailMax Engine & 7,300mAh Battery”

OnePlus is set to unveil its newest flagship device, the OnePlus 15, in India on Thursday, November 13. This smartphone boasts cutting-edge features, including the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset from Qualcomm. The OnePlus 15 sports a new 6.78-inch BOE OLED display with an impressive 165Hz refresh rate and a large 7,300mAh battery.

Unlike its predecessor, the OnePlus 15 will not feature Hasselblad cameras and the OLED display resolution is 1.5K, lower than the 2K 144Hz panel found on the OnePlus 13. However, OnePlus is introducing its new imaging engine called DetailMax to enhance photo quality without Hasselblad tuning. Additionally, the phone is equipped with the G2 gaming chip for improved gaming performance.

The OnePlus 15 showcases a fresh square-ish design module with a frame constructed from aerospace-grade “nano-ceramic metal” for enhanced durability. It boasts IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and the G2 gaming chip, the device also features Android’s Touch Display Sync feature and a new Glacier cooling system.

With a massive 7,300mAh Glacier battery that supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, the OnePlus 15 offers robust battery capabilities. The phone comes with a triple rear camera setup comprising three 50-megapixel sensors – a main, an ultrawide, and a telephoto, all running on OnePlus’ DetailMax engine.

OnePlus has not disclosed the pricing details for the OnePlus 15 in India yet. However, the company has reduced the device’s price in China from 4,499 Yuan to 3,999 Yuan, indicating a possible price adjustment for the Indian market.

The OnePlus 15 will support 5G connectivity along with WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC capabilities.
