The tournament attracted a record 446 million viewers overall, with the final alone drawing 21 million concurrent viewers and 92 million CTV viewers, numbers comparable to men’s World Cup finals. In the semi-final, India achieved a record chase of 339 against Australia, led by Jemimah Rodrigues and Harmanpreet Kaur. The final against South Africa saw India scoring 298/7, the second-highest total in a Women’s World Cup final, with standout performances from Shafali Verma and Deepti Sharma. Deepti’s remarkable achievement of scoring 215 runs and taking 22 wickets in a single World Cup made her the first cricketer to achieve this unique double.
