Punjab Kings have appointed Sairaj Bahutule as their new spin bowling coach for the upcoming Indian Premier League season. This decision follows the tenure of Sunil Joshi, who previously held the position from 2023 to 2025.
Bahutule, a well-known figure in Indian domestic cricket, takes over the coaching role previously held by Joshi. With coaching experience in teams like Kerala, Gujarat, Vidarbha, and Bengal, Bahutule has a strong background in tactical planning and player development. His past involvement with Rajasthan Royals in the IPL has provided him with valuable experience in nurturing spinners and overseeing player growth at a high level.
PBKS CEO Satish Menon expressed gratitude to Sunil Joshi for his service and welcomed Bahutule, praising his strategic insight and player development experience. Menon highlighted that Bahutule’s expertise aligns with the franchise’s aim of building a cohesive and strong bowling unit.
