Following Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s criticism of the Samajwadi Party for their actions in Ayodhya during the Ram Janmabhoomi movement in the 1990s, AAP MP Sanjay Singh expressed that performing religious rituals in the name of Ram while encouraging animosity in the name of Rahim does not align with the values of Lord Shri Ram.
Singh questioned the Ayodhya government’s priorities, urging them to focus on issues such as youth employment, fair agricultural prices, inflation relief, housing for the underprivileged, and promoting unity over spreading hatred.
On the eve of Diwali, Yogi Adityanath targeted the opposition INDIA bloc, contrasting their history of violence with the BJP’s symbolic act of lighting lamps.
Yogi Adityanath highlighted the historical disrespect shown by the Congress and Samajwadi Party towards Lord Ram during the Ayodhya conflicts, emphasizing their violent actions while his government focused on peaceful symbolic gestures.
Continuing his criticism, Adityanath reiterated that his administration prioritizes peace and unity over violence and discord.
Singh further condemned Yogi’s remarks on the INDIA alliance leaders’ absence at the Ram Temple inauguration, pointing out perceived discrimination against leaders from marginalized backgrounds.
He raised questions about inclusivity in religious events and official invitations, emphasizing the need for unity and diversity in national ceremonies.
The Rajya Sabha MP called for collective efforts in fostering prosperity and harmony in the country, promoting a spirit of togetherness during national festivities.
Yogi Adityanath continued his critique of the Samajwadi Party, accusing them of neglecting Ayodhya’s development and progress.
