“ChatGPT Dominates AI Chatbot Market Among Wealthy Users”

ChatGPT has become a widely embraced AI chatbot globally, boasting a user base of over 600 million individuals, contributing significantly to OpenAI’s revenue growth. Notably, affluent users, particularly those earning more than $100,000 annually, have shown a strong inclination towards AI tools, with ChatGPT, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot emerging as their top choices for both professional and personal tasks.

A recent report from Morning Consult’s Fastest Growing Brands 2025 study reveals that high-income professionals not only recognize the value of AI assistants but are actively seeking to incorporate them more deeply into their daily routines. While ChatGPT leads as one of the most utilized AI chatbots, Gemini has experienced remarkable brand growth, with its awareness surging from 62% to 78% within the year.

The study indicates that ChatGPT surpasses its competitors in both recognition and favorability. The chatbot enjoys significantly higher awareness levels, giving it a competitive edge in attracting and retaining users in the long term. Furthermore, ChatGPT leads in “total considering share,” indicating a higher likelihood for consumers to use or recommend the tool compared to its closest rival.

The increasing adoption of ChatGPT among wealthier users can be attributed to the demands of their professional roles, which often involve extensive administrative tasks, strategic planning, and multitasking. AI chatbots streamline these processes by automating various tasks, accelerating workflows, and enhancing overall efficiency.

Morning Consult’s research draws insights from a broad spectrum of brands and surveys conducted among U.S. adults across different income brackets and age groups. The surge in consumer consideration for AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and WhatsApp among high-income earners underscores the leadership role of affluent individuals in driving AI adoption trends.

The study’s findings underscore the growing reliance on AI technologies among high-income professionals for enhanced productivity and time management. As AI capabilities continue to evolve, it is evident that affluent individuals are increasingly embracing these tools to streamline their daily operations and improve efficiency.
