Vivo is set to disrupt the premium smartphone market in India with its upcoming X300 series, scheduled for launch on December 2. The X300 lineup, which includes the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, will debut in India nearly two months after its global introduction. In a special treat for Indian consumers, Vivo will offer an exclusive Red color variant of the standard X300 that will not be available elsewhere.
The launch event, expected to be live-streamed on Vivo’s social platforms, will introduce Zeiss 2.35X teleconverters, an advanced accessory aimed at enhancing smartphone zoom capabilities. However, unlike the Chinese launch, the photography grip accessory will not be initially available in India.
The Vivo X300 is designed to combine high performance with advanced camera features. It boasts a 6.31-inch flat BOE Q10 Plus LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate for smooth visuals. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, it offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage for seamless performance.
The device is equipped with a 6,040mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, ensuring fast and long-lasting power. It also features an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for quick authentication and top-notch IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to water, dust, and high-pressure jets.
The highlight of the X300 is its impressive camera setup, including a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens offering 3X optical and 100X digital zoom. Collaborating with Zeiss, Vivo promises enhanced image processing for improved clarity, dynamic range, and low-light performance.
Moving on to the Vivo X300 Pro, it takes performance a step further with a larger 6.78-inch flat BOE Q10 Plus LTPO OLED display, maintaining the same resolution and refresh rate for vibrant visuals. Powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, the X300 Pro offers flagship multitasking and gaming capabilities.
With a 6,510mAh battery and 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, the X300 Pro combines high power output with extended battery life. It also features an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and IP68/IP69 durability certification.
The X300 Pro excels in photography, featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with advanced AI enhancements. The dual imaging engines, V3+ and VS1 chips, ensure natural yet detailed image outputs.
The X300 Pro will be available in Gold and Black finishes, while the standard X300 will exclusively offer a Red edition, adding a touch of style to the lineup.
