A SpiceJet flight heading to Patna had to return to Delhi shortly after departure on Thursday due to crew concerns over a possible technical issue. The flight, numbered SG 497, took off from Delhi at 9:41 am. The Boeing 737-8A aircraft has been grounded for a thorough inspection, with ongoing checks in progress. Affected passengers are being accommodated on an alternative flight.
This incident follows a previous event two months ago when another SpiceJet flight made an emergency landing in Srinagar due to a technical problem during the flight from Delhi, carrying 205 passengers and seven crew members. Similarly, in August, an Indigo flight bound for Dubai had to make an emergency landing in Ahmedabad after encountering a similar issue post-departure from Surat.
