During the match, Pant’s leadership was evident as he managed his bowlers effectively, containing South Africa A to 299 for nine at the end of Day 1. Off-spinner Tanush Kotian and left-arm spinner Manav Suthar played crucial roles in restricting the visitors, with Kotian taking 4 wickets for 83 runs.
