Poco recently unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, the Poco F8 Ultra and Poco F8 Pro on a global scale. These premium devices boast top-tier hardware and a smooth software experience. The Poco F8 Ultra is equipped with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, while the Poco F8 houses the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Both smartphones run on the latest Xiaomi HyperOS 3 and feature stereo speakers tuned by Bose. Details about the standard Poco F8 model are currently unavailable.
The Poco F8 Ultra is priced starting at £549 (approximately Rs 64,580) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, with the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage version priced at £599 (roughly Rs 70,465). On the other hand, the Poco F8 Pro comes in at £399 (around Rs 46,940) for the 12GB/256GB variant and £449 (approximately Rs 52,825) for the 12GB/512GB variant.
In terms of specifications, the Poco F8 Ultra features a large 6.9-inch 1.5K resolution OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500nits peak brightness. The device supports native playback of Dolby Vision content and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and packs a 6,500mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities. The camera setup includes a trio of 50-megapixel sensors on the rear, accompanied by wide, periscope telephoto, and ultrawide lenses, and a 32-megapixel front camera. The Poco F8 Ultra is available in Black and Denim Blue color options.
Meanwhile, the Poco F8 Pro features a slightly smaller 6.59-inch 1080p+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It also runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and comes with a 6,210mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging. The camera setup on the F8 Pro includes a 50-megapixel wide lens, another 50-megapixel 2.5x telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, along with a 20-megapixel front camera. The F8 Pro is offered in Black, Blue, and Titanium Silver color variants.
Both the Poco F8 Ultra and F8 Pro promise 4 years of major OS updates and 6 years of security updates, with RAM options up to 16GB (12GB in F8 Pro) and storage up to 512GB. Biometric security is handled by an in-display fingerprint scanner.
