Unlike WhatsApp, deleted messages won’t leave a trace and will vanish completely. This disappearing messages feature is akin to WhatsApp’s own feature, allowing users to set a timer for automatic message deletion.
To uphold privacy, X Chat offers the option to block screenshots and receive notifications when someone attempts to capture DMs or group chats. Additionally, the platform guarantees an ad-free experience with no user data tracking, catering to privacy-conscious individuals. X Chat unifies the existing X inbox, combining messages from both X Chat and the previous DMs.
Currently accessible on iOS and the web via X’s DMs section, X Chat will soon be available on Android. The company assures a forthcoming release on the Android platform.
