The Indian women’s team achieved a historic milestone on November 2 by clinching victory over South Africa by 52 runs at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai to secure their first-ever Women’s World Cup trophy. Their exceptional journey included a thrilling win against Australia in the semi-finals and a dominant display in the final against South Africa. This triumph, led by captain Harmanpreet Kaur, marked a significant achievement for Indian cricket.
During the session, PM Modi motivated the players to engage with schools and engage with children, emphasizing the lasting impact such interactions could have on young cricket enthusiasts.
