Lenskart’s stock price surged more than 5% in early trading on Monday following a strong financial performance in the September quarter. The company’s shares reached Rs 428.50 on the Bombay Stock Exchange at around 9:37 am, indicating a renewed investor confidence after an impressive quarter post-listing.
In Q2 FY26, Lenskart recorded a 20% year-on-year increase in net profit, reaching Rs 102.2 crore, driven by robust demand in both domestic and international markets. Revenue also saw a substantial growth of 21% to Rs 2,096 crore, compared to Rs 1,735.7 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The company’s Ebitda surged by 45% to Rs 414.5 crore, leading to an expansion in margins to 19.78%, reflecting improved profitability metrics. Revenue growth was broad-based, with India contributing Rs 1,230.6 crore in revenue, surpassing both the previous quarter and the same period last year.
Moreover, Lenskart’s overseas operations witnessed a significant revenue increase to Rs 879.6 crore, up from Rs 736.5 crore in Q1 and Rs 658.3 crore in Q2 of the prior year. After excluding inter-segment transactions, the total revenue stood at Rs 2,096.1 crore.
While expenses rose by 18% year-on-year to Rs 1,980.3 crore, the company managed to absorb the increase effectively due to strong revenue momentum and improving margins. Lenskart’s growth trajectory in the second quarter has been robust, with a notable focus on expanding globally, strengthening its presence in India, and enhancing operational efficiency.
The sustainability of Lenskart’s growth momentum moving forward will be contingent on its ability to maintain its international expansion efforts and manage costs in a competitive eyewear market. For now, the company’s recent quarter has resonated positively with investors, hinting at a favorable outlook.
