“14-Year-Old Vaibhav Suryavanshi Makes India A Squad for Rising Asia Cup”

India A’s squad for the upcoming Rising Asia Cup has been revealed, with 14-year-old batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi making the cut. The team, led by Jitesh Sharma with Naman Dhir as his deputy, includes promising players who shone during IPL 2025 such as Nehal Wadhera, Ashutosh Sharma, and Gurjapneet Singh.

Suryavanshi gained attention after his stellar performance in IPL 2025, where he scored 252 runs in seven matches, including a century and a half-century. His exceptional talent was further showcased when he smashed a record-breaking 52-ball hundred against England in a Youth ODI match, followed by a commanding 113 off 86 balls against Australia U19.

The Rising Asia Cup will see India A competing in Group B against Pakistan A, UAE, and Oman, starting their campaign against UAE on November 14. The BCCI also announced standby players for the tournament, including Gurnoor Singh Brar and Kumar Kushagra. The squad, led by Jitesh Sharma, brings a mix of experience and young talent to the tournament.
