“Samsung Galaxy S26 Lineup Launch Delayed to February 2026”

Samsung enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the release of the next flagship in the Galaxy S series, the Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup. Recent reports indicate that Samsung has decided to delay the launch of the flagship to February 2026. Additionally, it has been rumored that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge variant will be canceled, with the focus shifting to the Plus variant instead.

Anticipation is high for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, with speculation already swirling about the upcoming flagship phones’ features. The design of the S26 series is expected to receive a significant overhaul. The premium S26 Ultra model is rumored to sport more rounded corners and a potential redesign of the S Pen.

Furthermore, the rear design of the S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra is likely to feature new camera modules instead of individual cutouts, offering a fresh look to the series. Reports suggest that the Galaxy S26 Ultra may even be available in a vibrant orange color, reminiscent of the iPhone 17 Pro.

During a recent earnings call, Samsung executives hinted at major enhancements in AI, camera capabilities, and chipset for the Galaxy S26 series. It is anticipated that the S26 lineup will be powered by the new Exynos 2600 SoC in select regions, promising significant performance improvements. Additionally, some regions may opt for the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC from Qualcomm.

Camera upgrades are also on the horizon for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, with the Ultra model expected to feature a 200-megapixel sensor and an improved 3x telephoto sensor. The S26 and S26 Plus models are likely to sport new 50-megapixel main and ultrawide sensors, along with a 12-megapixel telephoto lens.

Samsung is reportedly working on enhancing the display technology for the S26 series, potentially incorporating new M14 AMOLED panels for improved brightness and color accuracy. The S26 Ultra may also introduce a privacy display feature for added screen protection during public use.

In terms of battery capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to come with a larger 5,400mAh battery, a step up from the previous model. The base S26 model may feature a 4,300mAh battery, while the S26 Plus is expected to house a 4,900mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is anticipated to be launched in San Francisco on February 25, 2026. Pricing details are yet to be disclosed, but Samsung is likely to maintain a competitive pricing strategy compared to the previous S25 series. The base model of the Galaxy S25 was priced at Rs 80,999 in India.
