Realme has introduced the GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Limited Edition in the Chinese market, following Redmi’s launch of the K90 Pro Max Champion edition with Lamborghini branding. This trend of automotive-themed smartphone editions is gaining popularity among consumers.
The Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Limited Edition features a unique Aston Martin Green color inspired by the carmaker’s F1 team livery. It incorporates lime and white design elements in a “dual-wing aerodynamic texture” with the prominent Aston Martin Aramco F1 team logo on the backplate.
The camera modules of the Realme GT 8 Pro have been revamped as well. The main camera module now sports vibrant lime and green colors for a distinctive look, while the square and circular modules feature more subtle green hues with lime accents. Users can customize the phone’s design with swappable camera modules.
Beyond the design changes, the Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Limited Edition boasts alterations to the user interface, including new F1-themed animations, wallpapers, and a dedicated camera watermark. Additionally, this special edition is expected to come with a custom box, a case featuring the Aston Martin logo, and a racing-themed SIM ejector pin.
In collaboration with Aston Martin, the Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Limited Edition marks the second device to receive a special edition following the Realme GT 7.
The specifications and features of the Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Limited Edition remain consistent with the standard device. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a dedicated R1 gaming chip, it boasts a 6.79-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a massive 7,000mAh battery, and 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.
The GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Limited Edition is set to launch in China on November 10, with its availability in global markets, including India, yet to be confirmed.
