iQOO is set to introduce its flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15, in the Indian market soon. Prior to this launch, the Vivo subsidiary has unveiled its gaming-centric device, the iQOO Neo 11, in China. The Neo 11 boasts several significant upgrades, including an enhanced display, larger battery capacity, and the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
In terms of design, the iQOO Neo 11 showcases a fresh rear design, departing from its predecessor’s square camera module for a sleeker look with dual cameras. It is offered in four color options: Light White, Pixel Orange, Facing the Gale, and Shadow Black. Notably, the Facing the Gale variant features a color-shifting rear panel akin to the upcoming iQOO 15. The device measures 8.05mm in thickness and weighs 216 grams.
Under the hood, the iQOO Neo 11 is powered by last year’s top-tier Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Similar to the iQOO 15, it incorporates the new Q2 gaming chip and iQOO’s Monster super-core engine for enhanced performance. Additionally, the device includes an 8K vapour chamber for efficient cooling.
Compared to its predecessor, the iQOO Neo 11 sports a more vibrant 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED display with a high 144Hz refresh rate. The display also features 2,592Hz PWM dimming, a 3,200Hz touch sampling rate, and a responsive 25.4ms touch response time.
In the camera department, the iQOO Neo 11 houses a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel front camera, an upgrade from the Neo 10’s 32-megapixel front shooter. The device is equipped with a sizable 7,500mAh battery that supports rapid 100W wired charging.
While the launch timeline for the iQOO Neo 11 in India is yet to be confirmed, it is anticipated to arrive after the iQOO 15’s debut next month. In China, the base model of the Neo 11 starts at 2,599 Yuan (approximately Rs 32,500) for the 12GB+256GB variant. Pricing details for the Indian market are scarce, but it is expected to be in line with the iQOO Neo 10’s pricing, which was launched at Rs 31,999 in India.
