A tragic incident unfolded in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur district as a woman lost her life in a horrific road accident while on her way to the market with her husband for Karwa Chauth preparations. The accident resulted in severe injuries to the victim, with witnesses recounting the distressing scene of her heart continuing to beat momentarily after the impact.
The unfortunate event occurred on the Dhaulana-Gulawathi road when a truck collided with the motorcycle carrying Anuradha, 35, and her husband, Hariom. Reports indicate that the truck driver swerved to avoid a pothole, causing the fatal collision.
Tragically, Anuradha succumbed to her injuries at the scene, while her husband sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment. The collision was so intense that it left Anuradha’s body severely damaged, with her heart shockingly continuing to beat for a brief period after the accident, leaving bystanders and Hariom in disbelief.
Law enforcement promptly responded to the scene, arranging for Anuradha’s body to undergo a post-mortem examination. In the aftermath of the tragedy, protests erupted among relatives and villagers due to alleged delays in communication. Circle Officer (CO) Pilkhuwa, Anita Chauhan, intervened to calm the situation and reassured the community of a comprehensive investigation.
The truck driver has been detained for interrogation, and an official inquiry has been launched to determine the exact cause of the collision.
