In Gujarat’s Bhavnagar district, authorities apprehended a woman, her paramour, and his associate for the alleged killing of her spouse and disposing of his body near a village. The community was shocked when a young man’s severely injured body was found two days ago. Investigators disclosed that the murder was a scheme devised by the victim’s wife and her lover to eliminate him from their lives so they could be together.
The incident came to light when locals discovered the man’s body on the outskirts of Bhavnagar and alerted the authorities. The victim, identified as Kamlesh Dudhiya, a city laborer, displayed signs of brutal violence, leading the police to treat the case as a homicide.
During interrogation, the victim’s younger brother informed the police about the ongoing disputes between the couple, raising suspicions on Kamlesh’s wife, Mamta. Further investigation unveiled Mamta’s romantic involvement with a man named Aman, residing in Kevalani, which was a source of frequent conflicts in her marriage.
Allegedly, Mamta expressed her desire to marry Aman but could not do so as long as Kamlesh was alive. Together with Aman’s companion, Amit, they purportedly orchestrated the murder. The trio enticed Kamlesh out of his home, murdered him, and left his body outside the village to stage the scene as an attack by unknown culprits.
Following the scrutiny of phone records and interrogations of Mamta and Aman, the police pieced together the timeline of events. Subsequently, the accused individuals confessed to the crime. Mamta, Aman, and Amit have been arrested and charged with murder and criminal conspiracy. The investigation is ongoing to ascertain if anyone else was complicit or had knowledge of the plan.
