Apple is set to launch Apple Fitness Plus in India on December 15, marking the service’s broadest expansion in five years with availability in 49 countries and regions. Apple Fitness Plus is a premium fitness platform seamlessly integrated with Apple devices like iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods Pro 3, and Apple TV. It offers a range of workout activities, including Strength, Yoga, HIIT, Pilates, and more, with sessions lasting from five to 45 minutes.
Users in India can customize their fitness routines through Custom Plans, tailor schedules, and track progress using features like the Burn Bar for comparison and personal progress tracking. The service also offers a variety of workout music genres through Apple Music, with playlists featuring artists like Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, and Beyoncé to enhance motivation and engagement.
Apple Fitness Plus includes motivational tools such as Stay Consistent and Push Further plans, as well as curated Collections for themed workouts like running a 5K or Pilates. Additionally, users can access the Time to Walk audio series and meditation themes promoting mindfulness and relaxation.
In India, Apple Fitness Plus will be priced at Rs 149 per month or Rs 999 per year, with the ability to share the subscription with up to five family members. The service requires compatible Apple devices, such as iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16.1 or newer, or Apple Watch Series 3 and above paired with iPhone 6s or later running iOS 14.3 or newer.
Customers purchasing select Apple products will receive three months of Apple Fitness Plus for free. This offer applies to eligible purchases of Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, AirPods Pro 3, or Powerbeats Pro 2 from Apple or authorized resellers.
