“Vivo Teases Apple-Inspired X300 FE for Indian Market”

Vivo is gearing up to introduce its upcoming premium smartphones, the X300 and X300 Pro, in the Indian market soon. Prior to this launch, the company has offered a glimpse of its next model for China, the S50 Pro Mini, which might arrive in India as the X300 FE. The official images suggest that Vivo has drawn inspiration from Apple’s design approach for this new device.

Han Boxiao, Vivo’s Product Manager, posted pictures of the S50 Pro Mini on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. The images reveal a sleek device with a flat frame. Notably, the camera module on this model bears a resemblance to the iPhone Air, featuring a long, pill-shaped design that extends across the width of the device.

In contrast to the X200 FE, the S50 Pro Mini boasts a triple rear camera configuration with the flash positioned between the sensors. The device is equipped with a 6.31-inch flat AMOLED display, emphasizing a compact form factor. Vivo has confirmed that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, coupled with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

The S50 Pro Mini is said to achieve over 3 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark, showcasing its robust performance capabilities. Additionally, the device focuses on photography with a dual rear camera setup comprising a sensitive main sensor and a Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens. For selfies, it features a 50-megapixel front camera.

With IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, the S50 Pro Mini houses a 6,500mAh battery and supports rapid charging with 90W wired and 40W wireless options. Details regarding the launch date and pricing of the anticipated Vivo X300 FE are currently scarce, as its predecessor, the X200 FE, was priced at Rs 54,999 in India.
