“OnePlus Announces Launch of 15R and Pad Go 2”

OnePlus is wrapping up the year with a flurry of activity. Following the recent debut of the flagship OnePlus 15, the Chinese tech giant has confirmed the upcoming launch of two more products. Scheduled for December 17, OnePlus will introduce the OnePlus 15R and the Pad Go 2. Here’s a preview of what to expect from these new releases.

The OnePlus 15R is said to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 6T, originally slated for release in China. Both models share an identical design, with the 15R available in Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze color options. Notable features of the 15R include a square camera module and a flat frame, similar to the OnePlus 15.

Additionally, OnePlus has revealed that the 15R will boast impressive IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, positioning it as a highly durable device. Expected to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, the 15R may also offer a 165Hz refresh rate and a customizable Action Key.

In terms of camera capabilities, leaked information suggests that the OnePlus 15R will feature a dual-camera setup, potentially comprising a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. Notably, the device is rumored to house an impressive 8,000mAh battery, surpassing the power capacity of the OnePlus 15, and supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Shifting focus to the OnePlus Pad Go 2, this tablet marks an update to OnePlus’ mid-range tablet series and will be the company’s first tablet with 5G connectivity. Available in Shadow Black 8GB/256GB and Lavender Drift variants, the Pad Go 2 will introduce stylus support to the Go series tablet lineup.

While specific pricing details for the new OnePlus devices remain scarce, expectations are that the OnePlus 15R may receive a price increase compared to its predecessor, the 13R, in line with the pricing trend seen with the OnePlus 15. On the other hand, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is anticipated to launch at a similar price point as the original Pad Go, which was priced at Rs 19,999.

Overall, the OnePlus 15R and Pad Go 2 promise exciting new features and upgrades, positioning OnePlus to end the year on a high note.
