“Poco Set to Unveil F8 Series with Top-Tier Features”

Poco is preparing to introduce its F8 series later this month. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer recently announced that the official global launch event will take place on November 26 in Bali, Indonesia. Although specific details about the specifications and launch in India have not been revealed by the brand, there is speculation that the Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra could be the international versions of the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max, which were recently launched in China. The F8 series is expected to feature similar design and internal components, with some adjustments, including changes to the battery configuration.

Let’s delve into what is known so far about the upcoming Poco F8 series. Reports indicate that the global unveiling will focus on the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra, aiming to bring top-tier features to the lineup. It is rumored that the F8 Pro and F8 Ultra could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipsets, respectively.

The Poco F8 Ultra is rumored to sport a triple-camera setup on the back, with 50-megapixel sensors for the primary, ultra-wide, and periscope telephoto lenses. Additionally, the Ultra model may come equipped with a 20-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.

Enhancements in audio and display features are also anticipated. The F8 Ultra could include an extra speaker on the rear, supplementing the standard top and bottom speakers, which could enhance the overall multimedia experience. Regarding displays, the Ultra variant is expected to feature a 6.9-inch OLED panel, while the standard F8 might offer a 6.59-inch OLED display. Both models are likely to support a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, in line with current high-end smartphone standards.

Charging capabilities are set for an upgrade as well. Both the Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra are expected to support 100W wired charging, with the Ultra model possibly featuring 50W wireless charging functionality.

As for the India launch and pricing, while the global launch has been confirmed, details regarding the Indian debut are still pending. Poco has not provided any official information about when the F8 series might hit the Indian market. However, it is common for brands to introduce their devices in India a few weeks after the global launch, potentially indicating an early 2026 release for the Poco F8 series. Pricing specifics have not been disclosed yet, but given the premium features expected in the F8 series, it is anticipated to compete with devices like the OnePlus 15, Oppo Find X9 series, Vivo X300 series, and other high-end Android flagships.
