Oppo has unveiled its latest Reno 15 series, consisting of the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro, scheduled for a launch in China later this month. The company showcased the design and color options of both smartphones. While there are rumors of a Reno 15 Mini variant, Oppo has not officially confirmed its existence.
Following a design similar to the earlier Reno 14 series, both the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro feature a triple camera setup in a square module at the back. However, the camera module on the new devices now sports distinct Reno branding.
The Oppo Reno 15 will be available in three color options: Starlight Bow, Aurora Blue, and Canele Brown. The Starlight Bow and Aurora Blue variants boast unique designs on the back, while the Canele Brown version maintains a more minimalist look.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro will come in Starlight Bow, Honey Gold, and Canele Brown hues, with only the Starlight Bow variant featuring a special design element.
In terms of storage configurations, the base model Reno 15 will offer five options: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. On the other hand, the Reno 15 Pro will come in four variations: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB.
Rumored specifications for the Oppo Reno 15 series include a triple rear camera setup with a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP5 main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. The front cameras are expected to be 50-megapixel sensors. The devices in the series may be powered by the Dimensity 8450 chipset, feature 120Hz AMOLED displays, and support fast charging.
The Reno 15 series is set to debut in China on November 17, with an anticipated launch in India in December. While pricing details for the Indian market are scarce, it is speculated that they might align with the Reno 14 series. The Oppo Reno 14 was priced at Rs 39,999 in India, while the Reno 14 Pro carried a price tag of Rs 49,999.
